I recently had the privilege to attend a lecture by the esteemed Deputy Director for Centers for Disease Control Taiwan, Ministry of Health, Dr Phillip Yi Chun Lo. I found the talk on global control of HIV/AIDS to be incredibly insightful and informative. The talk effectively outlined the current epidemiological trends of HIV/AIDS globally, highlighting regions and populations most affected by the disease, which provided a clear picture of the scale and scope of the problem.
